Michele chirps one day while joining him on his walk to the training hall. After all, nicknames just kind of happen. I honestly don't know, maybe his squad ages just heard the Summoner once accidentally call him that to some friends. Imagine the nickname "Iodin" starts floating around attached to Lodin due to, well, let's just say just because it was funny.
